Synopsis

The city of El-Fasher sits on the front line. It's the military's last stronghold in the western Darfur region, but has effectively been cut off as RSF fighters battle for control of the area.
According to the UN, around 300 thousand people are trapped in the city. Photo-journalist and filmmaker Muhamed Zakaria is from there, and he's documented the war's devastating impact right from the start.
