Synopsis

An official apology will be delivered in Greenland’s capital, Nuuk, on 24 September, marking the governments of Denmark and Greenland's acknowledgment of historic mistreatment of Greenlandic Indigenous girls and women and decades of policies that included forced contraception and reproductive control.
