Synopsis

Since Russia invaded in 2022 all Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 have needed hard to obtain permits to leave the country. For the youngest - those aged 18 to 22 - that’s now changed. They can now cross the border freely. DW has been to Ukraine’s border with Poland to see if young Ukrainians are rushing to take advantage of the new rules and ask whether they intend to come home.
